Lucy Whalley - Founder
Lucy Whalley has over 18 years of experience at the forefront of international music contracting. Most recently, she served as CEO of the world-renowned Isobel Griffiths Ltd, where she worked as senior fixer and then manager from 2018 onwards. Under her leadership, London’s freelance music scene has flourished, reinforcing the capital's position as a global hub for recording excellence. Her deep understanding of the UK’s diverse musician network has been instrumental in delivering hundreds of high-profile projects, including major film score franchises such as Black Panther, How to Train Your Dragon, James Bond, Kung-Fu Panda, Mission Impossible and award winning video games series including God of War, Halo, Battlefield and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
As a senior fixer, Lucy has assembled world-class ensembles for iconic live concerts, including Hans Zimmer Live, The Brit Awards, U2 At The BBC, and managed complex recording sessions for leading artists including Kylie Minogue, Sam Smith, Andrea Bocelli, Coldplay, Peter Gabriel and George Michael.
A trained legal assistant, Lucy is known for her calm, composed presence and meticulous attention to detail—qualities that have made her an invaluable asset on countless productions.
In her leadership capacity, Lucy has also collaborated closely with the Musicians' Union and other key industry organisations, advocating for musicians and shaping policy.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she played a pivotal role in developing safe working environments for musicians, ensuring that hundreds could continue to work and that many major projects remained on track.
Lucy has served on the World Soundtrack Awards’ Advisory Board and continues to be a WSA member, friend of The Ivors and is a Musicians’ Union Approved Contractor.
She actively supports emerging composers, offering guidance and encouragement to help make their first productions a success.
